Part 2 is a workshop for 8 – 11 year olds to creatively imagine what the world might be like 500 years from now.

Come and explore a world where humans permanently live on water – on floodships, anchored above lost cities.

In these water cities there are hundreds of boats loosely tied together to form floating communities. Just imagine that! These floating cities were formed after the melting of the polar ice caps. Participants will explore this brave new world. What will this world be like? Look like? Sound like? How will it be the same as our world? How will it be different? What will have changed?

As part of the workshop participants will write letters to the kids living 500 years from now.The workshop will draw and paint their world, imagine the beautiful and scary creatures that live below their ships. We’ll develop stories, listen to their voices, and experience life on a floodship. Come along and find out more.

Ahoy there! Welcome aboard!
