Sustainable Homes Program The Sustainable Homes Program is designed to help residents take action to make their homes, workplaces and communities more sustainable. The program focuses on five key environmental themes of: Energy, Water, Waste, Travel, Biodiversity & Sustainable Gardening.The program consists of workshops, self audits/commitments and free Sustainability Starter kits. The program will be run for three years across Darebin, Whittlesea and Banyule Councils. The program is funded through the Victorian State Government's Sustainability Fund and Councils.
