The local short and long necked turtles are in need of volunteer assistance urgently. Due to dramatically rising salinity levels in the Lower Murray, the River Tube Worms are building their homes on the turtles shells. Volunteers will be carefully cleaning the shells and relocating the turtles to a safe hibernation area. All training will be delivered to volunteers by local Project Officers.
