The site is significant to the local community as it is remnant vegetation linking Belcher`s Sanctuary north to the Moorabool Catchment. It is proposed to plant 2,000 trees, shrubs, groundcovers and grasses to continue the past efforts in retaining and enhancing native vegetation in the area.
