Following the success of the 2nd Annual Sydney VeganExpo last year, Cool the Planet Bite by Bite is returning in 2008 to take over Wharf 8 Arrivals Hall at Walsh Bay, Gate D8, 53-59 Hickson Road, Sydney – on Sunday, June 15th, from 10.00am to 4.00pm. The key message of this year’s Expo is that we can make a difference. Although NASA scientists are saying that we’ve passed the tipping point, it’s not too late to reverse the destructive forces of greenhouse gasses - but it’s urgent that we take measures now, both individually and collectively. Cool the Planet Bite by Bite 2008 will feature special guests including Darren Cordeux from Kisschasy, Steve Kilbey of The Church, Lindsay McDougall of Frenzal Rhomb and Triple J, Lee Rhiannon MLC of the Greens and more! There’ll also be an exclusive eco-friendly fashion show PLUS so much more! Last year’s expo saw a 200% rise in attendance on the first Expo in 2006 – a sure sign that more people are concerned about the future of our planet, the prevalance of endemic diseases and their concern about industries which involve cruelty to animals.
