You are invited to Join Merri Creek Management Committee and Friends of Merri Creek for a series of Caring for Wetlands Workshops.Refreshments will be provided.

In 2006 Merri Creek Management Committee:
-planted 24,700 plants
-organised 53 community involvement events
-facilitated 4,418 hours of volunteer labour for on-ground works -provided stream health and biodiversity programs to more than 4,000 school students -supported community based Waterwatch monitoring groups -commented on 35 planning permit applications in the creek environs.
