Based in WA Sustainable September is a self-organising, not-for-profit, community-based working group and runs on the smell of an oily rag through volunteer action to create a month long festival of sustainability in action. In September the website is alive with a calendar of talks, trainings, launches, parties, seminars, community actions, debates and dialogues, workshops and dancing, celebrating all who are working to co-create a sustainable future. Sustainable September is co-convened by Robyn Williams from Persistence of Vision, and the WA Collaboration for Sustainability.
