Westvale Community Garden Open Day is part of the Sustainable Living Festival and venue for the Launch of the Healthy and Sustainable Gardens program in Brimbank. Visit the garden during summer harvest time, share gardening and recipe ideas. Activities on the day include outdoor cooking demonstrations, preserving workshop, gardening and art activities for children. A special guest speaker, Vasili, apprearing between 11am -12.30pm, will talk about Brimbank's Garden program and discuss natural and eco-friendly ways to improve your soil helping your plants to grow stronger and healthier.
