Mary and Robert Stringer have turned a large unproductive lawn into an edible vegetable and fruit garden. You can also find out about Transition Banyule, based on the Transition Town model of taking practical steps at a local level towards a vision of an abundant sustainable future, in response to climate change and the end of cheap oil.
