It’s back! CarriageWorks presents the second stage of our immensely popular Kitchen Garden Project.
CarriageWorks’ Kitchen Garden Project is a series of free community activities and workshops based on the notion of creative sustainability.
Under the guidance of sustainability expert and coach, Michael Mobbs, join us in building an organic kitchen garden from scratch.
To find out more, first attend the FREE INFORMATION EXPO, where you will be able to access a wide variety of organisations, practitioners and sustainable businesses, engage with inspiring speakers, listen to some great music and enjoy a drink with friends. Then join the evolving workshops including: construction of planter boxes; composting; worm farms; soil prep; seeds and germination; planting and plant care and finally, harvest.
Speakers include:
Michael Mobbs, sustainability expert, author and coach;
Robyn Williamson, urban horticulturalist and permaculture designer;
Aaron Sorensen, community and school garden catalyst and educator;
Annie Walker, community gardens coordinator, city of sydney.
