About the Workshop:
This workshop introduces climate law in Australia to community groups, climate action groups and interested individuals.
Are you confused about the Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme (CPRS) proposed by the Commonwealth Government? As a community campaigner for climate action, do you have questions about who you should be targeting and what you should be asking for?
Come along to the EDO’s “Crash Course in Climate Law” to gain a better understanding of the international and national legal frameworks proposed to combat climate change.
Content includes:
* international framework
* the proposed CPRS in Australia
* climate law in Victoria
Workshop format:
This two-hour workshop is based around a presentation by an EDO solicitor, with plenty of opportunity and encouragement for questions and participation in discussion by workshop attendees.
