The very first Australian advanced showing of ground breaking documentary The End of the Line will be on Tuesday 14th July at the Margaret River Cultural Centre from 6.45pm, a tribute to the globally significant marine environment on the doorstep of WA’s southwest. The End of the Line” has received glowing reviews for its cutting analysis of the international fishing industry and what needs to be done to ensure a future for fish. The film night will be hosted by the local Surfrider Foundation and will also feature guest speakers Professor Jessica Meeuwig from UWA’s Centre for Marine Futures and Tim Nicol, Marine Coordinator for the Conservation Council of WA. There are limited tickets available for this unique opportunity to see this film first - and to hear from experts about the state of our marine life, locally, nationally and internationally.
