Climate change, clean water and a pollution-free environment are all fundamental human rights issues.
The Federal Government is currently conducting a national human rights consultation into what rights should be better protected in Australia.
Many countries protect environmental rights through human rights legislation - and Australia should too.
This seminar will cover:
- How human rights are relevant to the environment and climate change
- How to make a submission to the national human rights consultation
- How to encourage and facilitate others to make submissions as well
