Workshop Purpose

The Environment Defenders Office (Victoria) Ltd EDO provides legal advice and representation to individuals and community groups who protect the environment. The purpose of the EDO VCAT Planning & Environment Appeals workshops is to improve the capacity of individuals and community-based conservation groups to be able to represent themselves in such matters before VCAT. Attendees will learn how to participate most effectively in a VCAT proceeding.

The 2-hour program is presented by EDO lawyers. It includes a presentation with plenty of opportunity and encouragement for questions and participation in discussion by workshop attendees.
