This event consists of the National finals of an Australian wide competition promoting science, engineering and renewable technologies in schools. The Challenge includes both car and boat racing competitions that are powered entirely by solar technology. Cars race around a 100m dual-lane figure 8 track reaching speeds of up to 30km/h. The challenge will be on display to the public for spectating.
