As the climate heats up and energy costs increase, low income households will be disproportionately affected.
CarbonCut, is a community response to the effects of climate change. Where a team of 4 young people will be recruited to conduct retrofits in 20 low income households to reduce their energy bills and water usage.
Places are now open for the CarbonCut Crew.
To apply you need to be a young person (between 18-30) who lives, works or plays in the City of Port Phillip. All applicants (numbers permitting) will be invited to attend the 2 day free training that will run on Monday 21st and Tuesday 22nd October. Four participants will be selected from those trainees to join the CarbonCut Crew, who will be paid an allowance for their time. The retrofits will be undertaken after the training, one day a week for 2-4 weeks in October/November.

· Undertaking House Retrofits
· Behaviour Change
· Communications Training
· Job Pathways in this field
