The first ever NSW grassroots climate summit will be held this October long weekend (4th and 5th) in Sydney.
This is your chance to join other community climate advocates and develop our strategy for the next crucial fifteen months collaboratively. In December 2009, the global community will meet in Copenhagen to finalise the post-Kyoto international climate agreement.
The summit will concentrate on brainstorming, developing and planning for joint campaign work across NSW, looking forward to the release of the CPRS White Paper, the National climate summit, and the Copenhagen talks.
This summit will be repeated regularly, at different locations around the state, bringing us together and focusing our energies as we embark on the most important twelve months in the earth’s history.
