The Future City Transport Summit 2008 is the first event to look at transport planning in a holistic manner, encompassing not just transport and infrastructure needs, but also urban design and planning, public transport investment, integrated ticketing, construction and environmental issues.
The summit aims to bring together executives from all tiers of government involved in the planning and delivery of urban transport, including road construction and public transport. They will be joined by international experts and decision makers from transport operators, engineers, technology providers, manufacturers and infrastructure finance professionals. The aim of the event is to address one of the biggest issues facing Australia today and in the coming years and to provide solutions to growing urban transport challenges.
