Are you interested in your local East Reservoir environment or the Darebin Creek? This is an exciting project that will restore some of the River Red Gum woodlands at Darebin Creek in East Reservoir. Community members are invited to come along and assist to plant local native plants along the edge of the Darebin Creek - opposite Bundoora Park. Come along by bike and see this beautiful bushland area, watch the creek flow, listen to the local birds and bugs.
The project is funded by Melbourne Water's Corridors of Green grant program - with your water supply bills going back to restore the local environment.
All tools supplied. BBQ lunch provided.
