Cementing the City of Stonnington's commitment to sustainability, this highly proactive council will launch its annual Sustainable Living Expo on 9 May to provide local solutions for global issues such as climate change, for home and business owners.
Hosted by the City of Stonnington, this carbon neutral three-day Expo features new and exciting environmentally sustainable products and services from ecoHome assessments to recycled furniture and biofuels.
Environmental demonstrations on installing energy efficient and water saving products will be a highlight, alongside exhibits including leaders in grey water systems, solar hot water, heating and cooling, and power systems, green cleaning products and services and eco friendly products for babies, pets and gardens.
Catering for a variety of interests and lifestyles, the Expo offers the latest and most innovative in sustainable living.
Schools are encouraged to attend the Expo on Friday 9 May with presentations specifically tailored to school children aged prep to 12 on a range of environmental topics including energy, waste and water. It�s an informative, fun and interactive way to inspire students to play a part!
A free indigenous plant will be given to each household at the Expo.
