You're invited to help convert a scorched bit of front yard grass into a garden of eden, and learn something about permaculture along the way. It's a suburban home for a family of four. Kids also welcome.
Work will include soil preparation, creating a vegie patch, hooking up some water catchment and preparing to plant fruit trees, for winter. Workshops will include companion planting, some 'what to plant when' advice, and caring for soil.
Please bring along any spare seedlings and seeds (vege, herb or flower) and musical instruments that you may have.
By public transport, catch the 9.28am from Flinders St on the Frankston line to Ormond train station. Walk East along North Rd for 1km.
RSVPs appreciated, keithrhodes@iprimus.com.au or just turn up. BBQ at noon.
