World's Biggest Green Drinks
If GREEN is the new black then Melbourne definitely has a fighting chance to take the mantle off New York as the home of the world’s biggest Green Drinks*.
To meet the challenge that has been set by our Northern hemisphere rivals we need your support to spread the word about the big event that will be coinciding with the Sustainable Living Festival in February 2008.
If you promote sustainable thinking either at home or work or simply have an interest in the environment then you’ll feel right at home with the wide cross section of Melbourne’s environmental community; including consultants, industry, commerce, Government, academia, NGOs, students and other people like you, who’ll come together for one of the highlights on Melbourne's 2008 calendar of events.
The event (free entry) will include entertainment, organic beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic at bar prices) and an opportunity for informal networking.
When: 6:00pm, 15th February 2008
Green Power will help to reduce the carbon impact of the event and a comprehensive recycling system will ensure that the landfill impacts are minimal. Walking, cycling and public transport will obviously be the modes of choice.Brought to you by a bevy of fine groups including:
