SPA Round Tables bring together the diversity of stakeholders concerned with, involved in or impacted by the packaging supply chain. Supply chain interactions improve understanding and facilitate the achievement of sustainable packaging through the creation of better solutions and strategies. Round Table participants include: • Environmental managers; • Supply chain managers; • Marketing executives/brand managers; • Decision makers; • Policy makers; • R&D managers; and • Packaging technologists and developers. Established in 2003, the SPA Round Table series is Australia’s primary forum for bringing together diverse stakeholder groups involved in and affected by issues relating to the environmental impact of packaging. SPA was formed to provide a focal point for strategic research, technology transfer and education to underpin and facilitate the development of sustainable packaging systems.
