The 41st annual Walk Against Want is a community event held to raise funds for Oxfam's development and emergency relief work around the world.

The walk starts in South Bank's Cultural Forecourt, from which the scenic track will follow along the Brisbane River and through the City Botanic Gardens.

Participants can choose to do a 5km track or a 10km track, but regardless of how many metres you walk it all counts towards a wonderful cause.

The walk starts at 2pm and registration begins at 12.45pm in the Cultural Forecourt.
