The 21st Century has begun and truly "We live in interesting times".  Societies and individuals are being challenged to learn how to live more peacefully with each other, with all other life forms and to respect the constraints, responsibilities and blessings of being citizens of  spaceship Earth.  Each month, a Sustainable Cities forum will explore a particular theme, presenting the key issues and challenges, with a view to inform and stretch the mind.
