The free Queensland Multicultural Festival is again set to energize Roma Street Parkland.

Deborah Conway & Willy Zygier will headline the festival in 2007 alongside Bobby Flynn.

The 2007 festival would feature a broad range of art forms including, music, dance, literature, film, craft, cooking, photography, improvisation, cultural heritage, roving artists, children's and family activities, as well as a cornucopia of diverse food stalls.

The music will again embrace a range of genres including classical, jazz, opera, world, rock, fusion and ethnic music.

The theme in 2007 is discovering diversity and will feature a vibrant procession of a lively music and dance artists throughout the parkland presenting a gypsy journey.

The festival, now in its fourth year, was developed by the Beattie Government to highlight the importance of cultural diversity in the Smart State.

To date, the festivals collectively have drawn crowds more than 120,000 people since the inaugural event in 2004.

As always, with such a diverse array of cultures there will be a huge variety of cuisine on offer.
