Kate Brennan, CEO of Fed Square Pty Ltd will give an overview of the water saving features at Federation Square from a facilities perspective. She will also discuss the partnership with City West Water that has delivered some great outcomes.
Water Conservation Solutions – City West Water
City West Water is one of three water companies in Melbourne working with its residential and non residential customers to deliver sustainable reductions in potable water use and achieve water savings targets set by the State Government for Melbourne.
City West Water has a large industrial and commercial customer base and has developed programs tailored to meet their needs. City West Water’s approach is to work collaboratively with its customers and one case, involving a partnership with Federation Square, will be discussed by Geoff.
Black is the new green
Glen will discuss Australia’s fi rst and second commercial black water recycling systems, in Urban Workshop and Southern Cross Redevelopment. He will provide an overview of the systems, discuss his experiences on the project and advise on ways and means of implementing future schemes.
