Join Friends of the Earth and The Wilderness Society on an overnight trip to see the magnificent threatened red gum wetlands along the Murray River.
This is a unique opportunity to learn about the ecological significance of red gum wetlands, and the cultural connections of the Yorta Yorta Nation Barmah-Millewa -- the largest river red gum forest in the world.
Dr Wayne Atkinson, Yorta Yorta elder, will lead us on a cultural tour of the area, and environmental experts will take guided walks of the forest.
