The need to reduce carbon from transport and the need to respond to peak oil overlap; there is much denial of both in the governance of our cities and the community. One of the reasons we don’t respond is that it seems too hard.
This lecture will attempt to show a pathway to a carbon neutral/oil free future and will use examples from around the world to illustrate how the first steps can be taken. Speaker: Professor Peter Newman, Director, ISTP, Murdoch Univ, WA
