Helena Norberg-Hodge unpacks the role localisation can play in helping create a more sustainable, equitable world.

Helena is founder and director of Local Futures, a non-profit organisation dedicated to the revitalisation of cultural and biological diversity, and the strengthening of local communities and economies worldwide. As an author and filmmaker, Helena is a pioneer of the local economy movement and has been promoting an economics of personal, social and ecological well-being for more than 30 years through writing and public lectures on three continents.
